What is the difference between a wool carpet and a manmade carpet?
Manmade carpet offers a lot more protection against stains and spillages where a wool carpet will stain if damaged. Wool carpet however will tread and wear better than a manmade carpet. Bleach can be used on Manmade carpet without fading the colour but not a wool carpet.
What kind of carpet is best for my staircase?
A short pile twist is best for a staircase as it will wear better and the pile won’t sink.
Can you fit my carpets?
Yes we can fit your carpet our team of fitters have 25 + years of experience in fitting carpets in all areas. All work is carried out to British standard and are approved by British trade skills.
What days can you fit my carpet?
We offer a 6 day a week fitting service and we can give you a morning or afternoon appointment.
Do you sell underlay and all the trims?
Yes we have over 15 choices of underlay to choose from and our friendly staff can advise which one is best for your project. Doorbars and gripper rods are also available in many colours and sizes.
Will the fitters deliver my carpet and leave things tidy once they're done?
All carpets fitted by the store are delivered by the fitters on the day of your fitting appointment and no extra charge. The fitters will always collect any waste and leave it tidy in your home.
Will you check my measurements?
Yes we offer a free no obligation measuring service where we can check the sizes of any rooms and advise what is best when it comes to pattern repeats and joins. Also we will be able to save on any waste therefore keeping the price down.
